Getting to grips with macro

I'm starting to get to grips with macro shooting with the K-7.

It's still a bit infuriating not being able to use my old extension tubes with the K-7 properly for some reason, but with this lens I can get 1:1 without tubes anyway.

One thing I'm finding particularly useful with the K-7 for macro is the ability to use the screen to get close when I can't get my whole head in there. So far I seem to be getting good sharpness using this method.

Now all I need is a dedicated fully automatic macro lens but that's a tale of rustling up about £3-500...
